Description

Usage

Procedure:

  1. Store the Stem Cell Cryopreservation Medium at 2-8°C until ready for use (do not pre-warm the medium).

  2. For cryopreservation, spin down your cells at a suitable speed (usually 200-300 x g for 5-10 minutes) to get a cell pellet.

  3. In a biosafety hood, aspirate culture media without distrubing the cell pellet, and then re-suspend cells with the cold Stem Cell Cryopreservation Medium.

  4. Transfer the cell suspension to the vial. It is recommended to work near ice packs, as the low temperature helps prevent damage to the cells from the protective agents.

  5. Ensure the cell vial is tightly sealed to prevent any leakage or rupture during the thawing and recovery process.
  6.  

    Immediately transfer the vial directly to -80°C to freeze, and transfer to liquid nitrogen for long-term storage.

Appearance Liquid
Storage Condition 2-8℃. Do not store lower temperatures to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
