Name Human Cardiomyocyte Differentiation Medium Kit
Description

The Human Cardiomyocyte Differentiation Medium Kit is a ready-to-use, defined, serum-free medium system designed to efficiently differentiate human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) into cardiomyocyte-like cells in a monolayer culture format.

The kit includes stage-specific media that support cardiac lineage induction and specification, promoting robust and reproducible differentiation. Under recommended culture conditions, spontaneously beating cardiomyocyte networks are typically observed approximately 9 days after differentiation is initiated (Day 0), following the pre-differentiation cell expansion and preparation phase. The formulation minimizes batch-to-batch variability and supports scalable, consistent differentiation workflows.

Appearance Liquid
Application
  • Cardiac differentiation research – generate hESC-derived cardiomyocytes for studying cardiac development and maturation.
  • Drug screening & cardiotoxicity testing – assess cardiac responses and safety profiles of compounds.
  • Disease modeling – study cardiac disorders and therapeutic strategies using human cardiomyocytes.
  • Cardiac tissue engineering – support development of engineered cardiac models and 3D culture systems.
QC

Each lot has been fully tested and optimized for its ability to support in vitro cell culture. The testing parameters include: adherence rate, typical morphology, and sterility.

Storage Condition For individual component storage conditions, refer to the table in the description section. Complete medium can be stored at 2-8°C for up to 30 days.
