Description

Poly-L-Ornithine is a positively charged synthetic amino acid with one hydrobromide per unit of Ornithine. It is commonly used as a thin coating on tissue culture surfaces. Poly-L-Ornithine coating promotes the attachment and adhesion of many cells in vitro. It does this by increasing the electrostatic attraction between the surface and the cells.

Each lot has been fully tested and optimized for its ability to support in vitro cell culture. The testing parameters include: adherence rate (where applicable), typical morphology, and metabolism of the tested cells. Additionally, the media has been tested for sterility, pH, osmolality and endotoxin levels.

Storage Condition Store at 2-10°C. Stable for up to 6 months from shipment if correctly stored. Do not freeze.
